About this training

This course focuses on the vital role educator–child interactions play in supporting children’s wellbeing, safety, belonging, and engagement. Aligned with Quality Area 5 of the National Quality Standard, the course builds educators’ understanding of responsive, strengths‑based, trauma‑informed interactions and how everyday practice—across routines, play, and challenging moments—impacts children’s learning and development. Educators will explore how intentional interactions, inclusive environments, and reflective practice strengthen child‑safe, respectful relationships.
